Meet The Founders
Founder & CEO
Layne Sheetz has always had a passion for entertaining others and making them smile. He has professional experience in live music, barista competitions, improv, and theatre. He believes that improv is not only a foundation of performance, but of life. Layne launched the first Camp Yesandia in summer of 2022. Layne received the Cedar Rapids Gazette Youth Advocate in the Arts award in 2025.
Cofounder & COM
With over 9 years of professional experience, Jake Truemper has performed at a variety of events for both improv and comedy. He helped start FDIC at Washington High school in 2014, and is excited to help kids get more time and experience on stage.
